Okay, so today I was trying to figure out who would win a tiebreaker between the Suns and the Pelicans. It’s been bugging me, so I decided to dive in and get to the bottom of it.

Digging into the Rules
First things first, I needed to understand how NBA tiebreakers work. It’s not always as simple as just looking at the win-loss record. So, I started searching online.
I learned the tiebreaker rules, I directly go NBA official website.
Checking Head-to-Head Records
The first thing I did was looking at the season series, to see, that how many games they play against each other.I found this information from NBA website.
Looking at Division Records (If Necessary)
The Suns and Pelicans are in different divisions,so it is unnessary.
Conference Records are Next
After that, I move on to conference record. I found both teams records.

Other Tiebreakers
- Point Differential:Finally, if all else is equal, it comes down to point differential in all games. Basically, which team won by more (or lost by less) throughout the season.
My Conclusion
After doing all this research, I was finally get an answer.
It was a good learning experience, and now I feel way more confident about understanding NBA tiebreakers. Hope this helps you guys out, too!
