So, I’ve been wanting to go to a WWE event for ages, and when I saw Raw was coming to Greensboro, NC in 2024, I knew I had to jump on it. This wasn’t some spur-of-the-moment thing; I’ve been following WWE on and off since I was a kid, and the chance to see it live? Yeah, I wasn’t missing that.
Getting Ready
First things first, tickets. I went online and started refreshing like a madman the second they went on sale. The official site, the usual ticket places. Seriously, felt like I was fighting off bots or something. It was a scramble, and there were moments when I thought “Oh no, it is sold out”, but with some serious F5 key action, boom I found it. Two decent seats, not too nosebleed, not too pricey. Score!
Then came the planning. Greensboro is a bit of a drive, so I mapped it all out. Where to park, you know, all that boring adult stuff. I even checked out some local restaurants near the Coliseum – gotta get a good meal before all the yelling and cheering, right?
The Day Of
The day of the event, I was pumped! I put on my favorite wrestling shirt (a vintage one, of course), grabbed my buddy, and we hit the road. The drive was pretty smooth, surprisingly. We cranked up some wrestling entrance themes to get in the mood – gotta get that energy up!
Parking was a little chaotic, but honestly, that’s expected. Everyone’s heading to the same place, all hyped up. We finally found a spot, and the atmosphere outside the Coliseum was already electric. People in costumes, chanting, the whole nine yards. It was awesome.

Once we got inside, it was sensory overload. The lights, the music, the giant screens… it was way more intense in person than on TV. We found our seats, and they were actually pretty good! We had a clear view of the ring, and the crowd around us was super into it.
