Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little experiments. Today, I was messing around with predicting the outcome of the Granada vs Rayo Vallecano game. Yeah, I know, pretty random, but I find this stuff fascinating.

That’s about a 60% chance of winning, according to the bookies. Granada, on the other hand, was sitting at 17/4, which is a much slimmer chance. And a draw? That was priced at 27/10. Just numbers, but they give you a basic idea of what people are thinking.
Then, I looked up some expert predictions. There was this one site, I forget the name, but it had a really detailed analysis of a Rayo Vallecano vs Granada game from earlier this year, talking about La Liga and all that. The prediction was from some lady, Kate Richardson, an expert, supposedly. I just skimmed through it, to be honest, but it was interesting to see how much detail they go into.
After that, I checked out some more predictions. One of them was really simple: “over 2.5 goals”. Apparently, Rayo Vallecano has been scoring about 2 goals per game in their league matches. That made me think maybe it would be a high-scoring game, or maybe not, who knows. Soccer can be pretty unpredictable sometimes.

Finally, I read another prediction that was basically saying Rayo Vallecano was going to win. It was pretty straightforward, saying that even though a draw was possible, they were confident that Rayo would take the points. I just thought to myself, “Ok, another vote for Rayo.”
So, after all this, what did I actually do? Well, nothing really. I mean, I didn’t place any bets or anything. I just jotted down some notes and thought about the possibilities. It was more of a mental exercise, you know? Just playing around with the information and seeing what I could come up with.
My “prediction”

- I guessed there might be a decent number of goals, maybe more than two.
But honestly, it’s all just speculation. I enjoy the process of looking at the data and making guesses, even if I’m not really serious about it. It’s like a little puzzle, and it’s fun to try and solve it, even if you don’t really get a prize at the end.
