Alright, so you wanna know about this Gloom Slough location, huh? Let me tell ya, it ain’t no picnic getting there. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack, but a real nasty haystack, mind you.
First off, they say most of this Gloom Slough stuff is in some place called the Dim Forest. Sounds cheery, doesn’t it? Now, in that Dim Forest, there’s this big ol’ tree, a Giant Banyan they call it. That’s where you gotta watch out. They say it’s full of Toxic Spores. Nasty stuff, makes you cough and wheeze, I reckon. But get this, you gotta do some kinda “quest” thing, “When the Forest is No Longer Dim” they call it, to get rid of them spores. Kids these days and their fancy names!
- Dim Forest: This is the main place to find Gloom Slough.
- Giant Banyan: Around this big tree, there’s a lot of Gloom Slough, but watch out for Toxic Spores.
- When the Forest is No Longer Dim: This quest thing gets rid of the Toxic Spores. Sounds like a load of work to me.
Now, some folks say you can also find this Gloom Slough stuff in old ruins. You know, places where houses used to be, but now they’re all busted up. Probably ain’t safe neither. Critters and who knows what else lurking around.
I heard some young’uns talking about a “Wuthering Waves” game. Sounds like a whole lotta noise to me. But they were yapping about this Gloom Slough too, and some new characters coming out, Changli and Jinhsi. Don’t know nothing about them, but they sure got folks excited. These games, I tell ya, they make things so complicated.
They also mentioned something about “Resonance Beacons” and “sonance caskets” and “supply chests” and even “blobflies“. Sounds like a whole heap of trouble to me. Why can’t they just say “thingamajigs” and “doodads” like normal folks? And they got maps too, showing you where all this stuff is. Interactive maps, they call ’em. Makes my head spin just thinking about it.
So, if you’re looking for this Gloom Slough, you gotta go to the Dim Forest, find that big tree, and watch out for them spores. Or you can poke around some old ruins, but be careful. And if you’re playing that Wuthering Waves game, well, good luck to ya, ’cause it sounds like a whole mess of things to find. They said somethin’ about a “Gloom” EP coming out too. I guess it’s some kind of music. Young folks and their noise!
And remember, I heard it’s coming out in the spring of 2024, and then there’s another one later in the year. Too much waiting if you ask me. They also said somethin’ about it bein’ produced by some fellas named Jordan Lockery and Seth Schaeffer. Fancy names for fellas makin’ noise, I reckon.
Anyways, that’s all I know about this Gloom Slough place. It ain’t easy to get to, and it ain’t safe neither. But if you’re determined, well, go on ahead. Just don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
