Okay, so let’s talk about this Furina banner in Genshin Impact version 4.7. I’ve been playing for a while, and I gotta say, this patch has got me scratching my head a bit.
I started by reading up on the new character, Sigewinne, and the returning hydro character, Furina. It seems like Sigewinne is a bit of a mystery right now. Nobody really knows how good she is, or if she’s worth spending your hard-earned Primogems on. Some folks online are saying to wait and see, which is probably smart.
Then, I looked into Furina. She’s been around before, so there’s a lot more info on her. From what I’ve gathered, she seems like a solid choice. A lot of players seem to like her. She’s a hydro character, and apparently, she’s pretty strong. Some people are even saying she’s one of the best characters in the game, but who knows, it’s a subjective choice right? And in one video, the creator suggested to wait before choosing between the new character and Furina, I think I will just do it.
Now, the weapon banner is a whole different story. I saw some discussions online about whether or not it’s worth pulling on. Some people were saying that if you’re going for certain weapons, it might be a good idea. But others were saying that you might as well just stick with the four-star weapons, especially if you already have decent ones for your main characters.
I also found out that each banner phase lasts for 21 days and usually features two characters. Someone did the math and figured out that if you’re waiting for a specific character to have a rerun, it could take over a year! That’s a long time to wait, and this is one of the reasons why it is very important to make the right decision when choosing.

- Skipped the Sigewinne banner for now. I figure I’ll wait until more people have tested her out and see what the general consensus is.
- Considered the Furina banner. Since I don’t have her yet, and I’ve heard good things, so I want to think about it. But I don’t have enough resources now, so I can’t pull right now.
- Ignored the weapon banner. I’m pretty happy with the weapons I have right now, so I didn’t see the need to spend resources there.
That’s my experience with the 4.7 banners so far. Honestly, it’s all about what you need for your account and what characters you enjoy playing. There’s no right or wrong answer.
