Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Greenwood Menu” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. At first, I was all excited, thinking I could whip up a cool menu for like, a little restaurant or something, you know?
I started by looking around, seeing what other folks have done. I saw some menus from actual restaurants – some were fancy, like with cocktails, Aperol Spritz for 17 bucks, and even a Hugo, which sounds interesting. There were also menus from some Chinese take-out places, and even a Kebab shop! It was quite a mix, to be honest.
Then I bumped into this thing called a “Prix Fixe” menu. Sounds super fancy, right? It’s basically a set menu with a fixed price, usually an appetizer, main course, and dessert all included. I thought, “Hey, that’s a neat idea!” A French restaurant had something like a spinach quiche as a starter, and then a marinated steak. My mouth was watering just reading about it.
So, I started putting together my own little menu. I added some appetizers, like maybe some spring rolls, because who doesn’t love those? Then for the main course, I thought about putting some classic dishes, nothing too crazy, maybe some good old fried rice or noodles. And for dessert, ice cream is always a winner, right?
But here’s the thing, I also wanted to keep it kind of simple. Like, not too many choices, because I figured that can get overwhelming. So I picked a few of my favorite dishes and listed them out, trying to keep a good balance.
My Greenwood Menu
- Appetizers
- Spring Rolls
- Soup of the Day
- Main Course
- Fried Rice with Chicken
- Noodles with Beef
- Dessert
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Fruit Platter
After all that, I realized it’s not just about slapping some dishes on a page. It’s about the vibe, you know? Like, who’s gonna be eating this food? What kind of place is it? Is it a quick bite or a sit-down dinner? It made me think a lot more about the whole restaurant experience. It’s not just a menu, it’s like, the first impression, right?
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the Greenwood Menu. It was fun, a bit challenging, but definitely a good learning experience. I think I’ll keep tinkering with it, maybe add some pictures next time, or even try to come up with some unique dishes. Who knows! Maybe one day I’ll actually open a restaurant.
