Alright, let’s talk about this Frank Covey IV fella. Seems like a big deal in that football thing, you know, the one where they throw the ball around and knock each other down? My grandkids are always yelling about it.
So, I heard tell this Frank fella, he plays for the Northwestern Wildcats. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Wildcats. Like a bunch of angry cats, I guess. He’s a wide receiver, which I reckon means he catches the ball. They say he’s 6 foot 1 or maybe 6 foot 2, depends on who you ask I suppose. Tall enough, I’d say. And skinny too, 185 pounds they say. Needs to eat more, if you ask me.
Now, they got all these numbers and stats for him. Says he had 68 catches and 1348 yards in… well, I ain’t sure when. But it sounds like a lot, so he must be good at catchin’ that ball. They also talk about receiving yards and touchdowns and stuff. All them numbers just make my head spin. But I gather he’s a pretty good player, this Frank Covey IV.

They keep saying “latest news” and “player updates”. Guess that means they’re always talkin’ about him. Probably on that there internet thing my grandkids are always glued to. They keep saying he’s got “career stats” too. That must mean how he’s been doing all along. Sounds like they keep track of everything these fellas do. Can’t sneeze without someone writing it down, I bet.
And there’s this ESPN thing too. Apparently, they got all the information on this Frank fella. Scoring, rushing… all sorts of stuff. I don’t even know what half of it means, but it seems important to folks. They got videos too, I hear. Guess you can watch him runnin’ around and catchin’ that ball. My grandkids probably seen ‘em all.
This other thing I heard, somethin’ about some “quadrant” stuff. Sounded mighty complicated. Something about urgent and important, and not urgent and not important. Some fella named Stephen Covey, maybe Frank’s grandpa or somethin’, came up with it. Said you gotta focus on the important things before they get urgent. Makes sense, I guess. Like fixin’ that leaky roof before the whole house gets ruined.
Anyway, this Frank Covey IV seems like a hard worker. Runnin’ around, catchin’ that ball, gettin’ his name in the papers and on that internet thing. He’s probably a good kid. Hope he eats enough and stays outta trouble.
So, that’s what I know about Frank Covey IV. Not much, I reckon, but enough for an old lady like me. Just another fella playin’ that football game, far as I can tell. But he seems to be pretty good at it, so good for him, I say.
