Okay, so, I was knee-deep in Baldur’s Gate 3, right? Totally engrossed in this epic battle, and then BAM! My UI just vanishes. Poof. Gone. Like, I’m staring at my character, beautiful scenery, but no health bars, no mini-map, no action buttons… nothing.

First thing I did? Mashed every button on my keyboard. Seriously, I went full keyboard warrior. I figured something had to bring it back. Maybe I’d accidentally hit some obscure hotkey? Nope. Still no UI.
Next, I paused the game. I needed a moment to think, and also to prevent my party from getting wiped while I was fumbling around blindly. I went into the options menu, eyes scanning for anything related to “HUD,” “Interface,” “Display”… you name it.
I checked all the usual suspects. Display settings, gameplay options, even the accessibility features (you never know!). Toggled a few things on and off, just in case. Still nothing. My beautiful, immersive world was still sadly lacking any way to, you know, interact with it.
Finally I thought to start from the very basic options, so I tried to reload last save.
And BOOM! It’s back, my beautiful UI.

So, lesson learned? When in doubt, just reload your last save. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one, saves me lots of time.
