Okay, so I saw this thing online about Bryson DeChambeau potentially winning the Masters, and I got curious. I mean, the guy’s known for hitting the ball a mile, but the Masters is all about finesse, right? So, I decided to do a little experiment of my own.

Getting Started
First, I watched a bunch of videos of DeChambeau playing. I focused on his swing, how he approaches the ball, and, of course, how far he hits it. I also watched all my collection of Masters film.
And then I start to read all the news about him online.
Hitting the Range
Next, I headed to my local driving range. I grabbed my driver and a bucket of balls and tried to mimic DeChambeau’s swing. It’s…different. He’s got this super wide stance, and he really goes after it. I felt like I was going to pull a muscle!
- Tried the wide stance: Felt weird, but I did get a little more distance.
- Focused on rotating my body: This seemed to help keep the ball straighter.
- Swung as hard as I could: Okay, this was fun, but my accuracy went way down.
The Short Game Reality Check
After the driving range, I moved to the putting green. This is where I realized that just hitting it far isn’t enough. The Masters greens are notoriously fast and tricky. I spent a good hour just practicing putts from different distances and angles.
I start to practice my putting skills.

My Conclusion
After my little experiment, I have a newfound appreciation for DeChambeau’s game. Yeah, he hits it far, but he’s also got a solid short game. I can’t say for sure if he’ll win the Masters,But for me, I got all my swing and putting skill polished.
