Well, hello there, y’all! Let’s chitchat about them wrestling shows, the ones they call pay-per-views, or somethin’ fancy like “Premium Live Events” now. I tell ya, it’s all a bit confusing for an old gal like me, but I reckon I can piece it together for ya.
So, you’re itchin’ to know when is the next pay per view WWE, huh? Seems like they got one comin’ up on December 14, 2024. They’re callin’ it “WWE Saturday Night Main Event”, and it’s gonna be in some place called Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in New York. Sounds fancy, but it’s just a wrasslin’ show, ya know? They say it’s gonna be on that Peacock thing and NBC too, whatever them things are.
Then, after that one, there’s another one on January 25, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Same deal, “Saturday Night Main Event” on Peacock and NBC. They say some fella named Nick Khan, he’s the big boss man, thinks these wrasslin’ shows do better on Saturday nights. Maybe he’s right, maybe he’s wrong, I ain’t no expert on these things.
And get this, they got one more comin’ up soon after, on February 1. That one’s the Royal Rumble. Folks get all excited ‘bout that one. They throw each other over the top rope, and the last one standin’ wins. It’s a real hoot, I tell ya.

Now, they used to call these things just plain old pay-per-views, but now they’re callin’ ‘em “Premium Live Events” or “PLEs” for short. Sounds like somethin’ you’d order at a fancy restaurant, don’t it? But it’s still just wrasslin’, big fellas and gals in tights, grapplin’ and slammin’ each other around.
They got these wrasslin’ shows pretty regular, about once a month or so. And they got other shows too, like RAW and somethin’ called Day 1, happened back in January this year. And they talk about Elimination Chamber, too. So many shows, it’s hard to keep track, I swear! They say they got like 10,000 hours of this stuff you can watch. Ten thousand hours! That’s more time than I’ve spent shuckin’ corn in my whole life, I reckon.
Before most of these big shows, they got somethin’ they call a pre-show. That’s where they talk to the wrasslers and get you all hyped up for the fightin’. It’s like gettin’ the fire goin’ before you cook the stew, ya know? Gotta get things warmed up.
So, there ya have it. That’s the lowdown on when them next wrasslin’ shows are comin’. They got that Saturday Night Main Event a couple of times, and then that Royal Rumble. And who knows what else they’ll cook up after that? These wrasslin’ folks are always comin’ up with somethin’ new to keep folks entertained. And that’s just fine by me, I reckon. Gives me somethin’ to watch while I’m knittin’ my socks.
