This DJ Moore, I tell ya, he’s somethin’ else. Week 17, you say? Well, let me tell ya, that boy’s been runnin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off all season. He’s a wide receiver, that’s what they call ’em. He catches the ball, that pigskin. They throw it, he catches it. Simple as that. But it ain’t always so simple, is it?
Now, in this here week 17, folks are sayin’ he’s gonna do good. They got these fancy numbers, these “fantasy points” they call ’em. I don’t rightly understand all that, but they say he’s gonna get 14.2 of ’em. Sounds like a lot to me. He’s playin’ against the New Orleans Saints. I heard they are good. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
They say you gotta “start” him. Means you gotta put him in your team. These fantasy football fellas, they pick players, like pickin’ chickens for the stew. They want the best ones, the ones that’ll get ’em the most points. And this DJ Moore, they say he’s one of the best this week. They also say he is WR2. Sounds like a good thing to me.
- He catches the ball real good.
- He runs real fast.
- He’s gonna get a lot of points in week 17.
This one fella, he caught that ball five times last week. Five! That’s a lot of catches. And he ran for 55 yards. That’s like runnin’ from my house to the old Miller place down the road. He did that in one game! And they threw the ball to him 11 times. Eleven! Lordy, that’s a lot of throwin’. He also has 10 targets in four games. That means he is getting the ball a lot.
They say he’s been gettin’ a lot of chances lately. Like givin’ a hungry dog a bone. They keep throwin’ it to him, and he keeps catchin’ it. He gets a target share. I don’t know what that means, but it seems to be good. They say he has a 33.3% target share, and that is a big number. He also has 2.32 YPRR, which is also very good, if I understand it correctly.
Now, I heard some folks sayin’ he coulda been even better this year. They say if this other fella, some Darnold fella, was throwin’ him the ball, he woulda done even better. Imagine that! He is good, but he can be better! I don’t know much about this Darnold, but he must be good at throwin’ that ball. They said that DJ Moore could have been good in 2022 if Darnold was his quarterback.
But that’s all water under the bridge, as they say. What matters is now. And right now, this DJ Moore is doin’ pretty darn good. He is WR13 since week 11. He also had six red zone targets. That’s important, they say. If you can get into the red zone, you can get points.
So, if you’re one of them fantasy football folks, you better listen up. This DJ Moore, he’s the real deal. He’s gonna get you some points. You better “start” him, like they say. He is a WR1. That’s what they call the best ones. And they say you should have confidence. I don’t know what that means in football, but it sounds good to me.
I don’t know much about this fancy football stuff, but I know a good thing when I see it. And this DJ Moore, he’s a good thing. He is good at football, even if I don’t understand all the details. He runs fast, catches the ball, and scores points. That’s all that matters, ain’t it? So, you just remember that in this here week 17. You better play him. That’s all I gotta say about that.
I reckon that’s all I got to say about that DJ Moore fella. He’s a good one, that’s for sure. Hope you folks understand what I mean about all this football stuff. It’s all a bit much for me, but I try my best to keep up with it. It is complicated, but at least that DJ Moore fella knows what he is doing on the field!
