Okay, so I saw this thing online, “conor mcgregor size,” and I was like, alright, let’s dive in. I mean, the dude’s a legend, and his physique is part of the whole package, right?

First thing I did, I started digging around. Saw some stuff about him doing a lot of hypertrophy training. Basically, that means lifting weights to get bigger. Then I read about his diet – six meals a day! Carefully measured carbs and fats. Six meals? Damn, that’s a lot of eating. My usual is like, three, maybe four if I’m feeling ambitious. I had to adjust my schedule big time.
Here’s what I did:
- Weight Training: Started hitting the gym three times a week. Focused on compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press, and overhead press. Kept the reps in the 8-12 range for hypertrophy. Went heavy when I could, always focusing on form.
- Diet Overhaul: This was the toughest part. Six meals a day is insane. I prepped all my meals on Sundays and Wednesdays. Lotta chicken, rice, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Some healthy fats like avocado and nuts. I even bought a food scale to measure everything out accurately.
- Cardio: Didn’t want to just get bulky, so I added in some light cardio. Mostly just jogging a couple times a week, nothing crazy.
The first week was brutal. My muscles were sore all the time, and I was constantly eating. Felt like I was running a marathon every day. But I stuck with it.
