Okay, so I’ve been trying to piece together this Clemson football depth chart for 2024, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to get a good look at who’s going to be playing where, you know?
First, I started digging around online to find any info I could. I mean, I just typed “Clemson football 2024 depth chart” into the search bar and went from there. I found a bunch of different sites, some official, some not so much, all listing players and positions. It was a bit all over the place, to be honest.
Then I started comparing the information. I quickly realized some sources were more up-to-date than others. Some of them still had old info from last season, which wasn’t super helpful. I definitely had to cross-reference a few times to make sure I wasn’t getting bad intel.
One thing I noticed was how they list the players. Some had these weird abbreviations like “Jr.” or “^Sr.” It took me a minute, but I figured out they were talking about extra years of eligibility because of that whole COVID thing. Kind of confusing, but it makes sense, I guess.
Offense
-
At Left Tackle, it looks like Tristan Leigh is the guy. He’s a big dude, 6’6″ and 315 pounds, listed as a Junior. Then you got Mason Wade, a Freshman, backing him up.
-
The Left Guard spot seems to be Marcus Tate’s, another big fella at 6’5″.
-
Then I saw T.J. Watkins mentioned as an option for Left Tackle too. He is a Junior, 6’3″, a bit smaller but still a solid player.
-
At Running Back, I saw a few names popping up as the number two behind Phil Mafah, including Keith Adams Jr., Jarvis Green, and David Eziomume.
One interesting tidbit I stumbled upon was about Adam Randall. Apparently, he’s now the starting kick returner, taking over for Haynes.
I also tried to figure out who’s leaving the team. Seems like Will Putnam, the center, is out. That’s a big loss, from what I gather.
After putting all this together, I feel like I have a decent grasp on the Clemson Tigers’ 2024 depth chart. Still, things can change, especially with injuries and whatnot. But hey, at least I have a better idea of what to expect going into the season.
It was a bit of work, sifting through all that information, but it was kind of fun too. I’m no expert, but I enjoy keeping up with this stuff. You know, it’s all part of being a fan!
