Okay, so I got really into this “Chase Burns Scouting Report” thing today. Here’s how it all went down:

First, I was just messing around online, looking for something interesting to dive into. I stumbled upon some talk about this baseball pitcher, Chase Burns, and how he’s supposed to be pretty good. I don’t know much about baseball prospects, but I was in the mood to learn something new.
So, I started by, you know, just Googling “Chase Burns.” I found a few articles and videos, mostly highlights and some basic info about him. Stuff like he throws really, really fast. Like, crazy fast.
Digging Deeper
After getting the basic picture, I wanted more. I wanted to see what actual scouts were saying, not just some random articles. I started searching for “Chase Burns scouting report” specifically.
This is where things got a little tricky. I found some reports, but a lot of them were behind paywalls or just really short summaries. Frustrating! I kept digging, though, using different search terms, like adding “2024” or “MLB Draft” to try and get the most recent stuff.
- I found a couple of decent articles that broke down his pitching mechanics.
- I watched a few videos where analysts were talking about his strengths and weaknesses.
- I tried to find some actual, full scouting reports, but those were tough to come by for free.
Putting It All Together
Even though I couldn’t find a super detailed, official scouting report, I felt like I got a pretty good understanding of Chase Burns. I learned about his fastball, his slider, and how scouts think he’ll do in the future. I took a lot of written notes for myself, too.

It wasn’t the easiest thing to research, because a lot of the good stuff is locked away. But I still managed to piece together a good picture of this guy, and I learned a bunch about baseball scouting in the process. Definitely a good way to spend a few hours!
