Alright, so I saw this question popping up everywhere: “Can you create a player in College Football 25?” and I was like, “I gotta figure this out.” I’m a huge college football fan, so I was just as hyped as everyone else for this game.

First thing I did was fire up the game, obviously. I poked around the main menu, looking for anything that said “Create a Player” or “Roster” or something like that. Nothing jumped out at me immediately, to be honest.
Then, I figured, maybe it’s hidden inside one of the game modes. I dove into “Dynasty” mode first, thinking that’s where you’d build your team, right? I went through all the setup screens, picking my school, setting up my coaching staff… still nothing about creating individual players.
Next, I tried “Road to Glory.” My thinking was, this is where you play as a single player, so maybe… just maybe… this is where I create my guy. I started the mode, and BAM! There it was. The game prompted me to create my player right at the start.
The Creation Process (It’s Pretty Deep!)
- Basic Info: Name, hometown, high school… the usual stuff.
- Position: Picked my position. Quarterback, of course! Gotta live out my dreams, haha.
- Appearance: This is where it gets crazy. You can tweak EVERYTHING. Face shape, hair, skin tone, even down to individual facial features. I spent way too long messing with my player’s jawline, I’m not gonna lie.
- Attributes: Okay, here’s the important part. You get to assign points to different skills, like throwing power, accuracy, speed, agility… all that good stuff. You gotta think carefully about what kind of player you want to be. Do you want to be a pocket passer? A scrambler? I went for a balanced approach, wanting to be able to make plays with my arm and my legs.
After all that, I finally had my player! It was a pretty smooth process, once I figured out where to find the creation suite. It’s seriously detailed – you can really make your player look and play exactly how you want.
My advice? Jump into “Road to Glory” if you’re looking to create a player. It’s right there at the beginning. Don’t waste time like I did poking around the other modes first!
