Well, let me tell you, these young folks and their baseball games, always a hoot. Braves vs Dodgers prediction, they all say. It’s like pickin’ which chicken lays the biggest egg. This Braves vs Dodgers, it’s a big deal, I reckon. Big as my old sow, Bessie.
So, this here thing, Braves vs Dodgers prediction, it’s like tryin’ to guess the weather. One day it’s sunny, next day it’s rainin’ cats and dogs. These baseball fellas, they run around, hit that little ball. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. Ain’t that just like life, eh?
Now, some folks say the Dodgers are gonna win. They got some strong boys, I hear. Big arms, throw that ball fast, like a rabbit runnin’ from a fox. They say Dodgers got a 52% chance to win. What’s that mean? More than half, I guess. They hit that ball far, like a crow flyin’ to the next county.
- Dodgers, they strong.
- They hit ball far.
- Maybe they win.
But then there’s the Braves. Them boys ain’t no pushovers neither. They got some fight in ’em, like a rooster defendin’ his hens. Braves, they good too. Maybe they win, 5 to 4. That’s what some fella said, anyway. They also say Braves are gonna win World Series. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds fancy. They can run fast, like a greased piglet at the county fair. They got a good team, too, so they say.
This one fella, name of Yamamoto, or somethin’ like that. They say he’s good. He’s with the Dodgers. He throws that ball, and it curves all funny, like a snake slitherin’ through the grass. Hard to hit, that is. He helps Dodgers win, they say.
So, this Braves vs Dodgers prediction, who’s gonna win? Hard to say. Like countin’ chickens before they hatch. Could be Dodgers, could be Braves. Maybe it’ll be a tie, like two mules pullin’ a plow in opposite directions. Then nobody wins, and everybody’s just tired and sweaty.
They talk about somethin’ called “runs.” More runs, better chance to win. Like more apples in your basket, I reckon. They say over 7.5 runs. Or over 9 runs. What’s that mean? Lots of runnin’, I guess. Like kids chasin’ fireflies on a summer night. Lots of action, that’s for sure.
Los Angeles Dodgers, they got good odds, they say. +400. What’s that? Sounds like a lot. Then Atlanta Braves, they got +800. Even more! Like sayin’ one pile of beans is bigger than the other. These numbers, they just confuse an old woman like me.
- Braves got good boys too.
- They run fast.
- Maybe they surprise everyone.
And you got the Yankees. They in New York. That’s far away. Then you got the Phillies. Sounds like a girl’s name. They play ball too. It’s all a big muddle to me, but the young folks, they sure do love it.
These Braves and Dodgers, they playin’ on Sunday, I heard. Then they playin’ on Monday too. Every day playin’. Don’t they ever get tired? Like my old milk cow, always needin’ milkin’, rain or shine.
So, what’s my prediction? Well, I’ll tell ya. It’s gonna be a game, that’s for sure. Lots of yellin’, lots of runnin’, lots of that little ball flyin’ around. Maybe the sun will shine, maybe it’ll rain. Maybe the Dodgers will win, maybe the Braves will win. Maybe they’ll both just get tired and go home.
This whole Braves vs Dodgers prediction thing, it’s like tryin’ to predict which way a cat’s gonna jump. You just never know. But it’s fun to watch, I reckon. Just like watchin’ the chickens peck around in the yard. You never know what they’ll do next, but it sure is entertainin’.
I’m gonna get my biscuits. You want some?
