Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about this Botafogo versus Guarani game, or whatever they call it. You know, the one with the ball and the kickin’. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I’ve seen enough games to know a thing or two.
Who’s gonna win, you ask? Well, hold your horses, it ain’t that simple. These fellas, they like to keep the scores low, like they’re afraid to wake the chickens or somethin’. Not a whole lot of runnin’ and jumpin’ and scorin’ like them fancy city teams, you know? Just a bunch of pokin’ and proddin’ the ball around.
Now, some folks are sayin’ Guarani’s got the edge. They’re talkin’ about bettin’ and such, puttin’ your money where your mouth is. They sayin’ if you bet on Guarani and it ends up a tie, you get your money back. Sounds like a good deal, I reckon, if you’re into that gamblin’ stuff. Me? I’d rather spend my money on a good piece of pie, but you do you.

They’re playin’ again soon, on August second, I think. Or maybe it was January, or October… Heck, I can’t keep track of all these dates. It’s like tryin’ to count the hairs on a dog’s back. But the important thing is they’re playin’, and folks are gonna be watchin’ and hollerin’.
So, if you’re gonna put some money on it, Guarani might be the way to go. But don’t come cryin’ to me if they lose, alright? I ain’t no fortune teller, just a woman who’s seen a few games in her time. And from what I hear, Guarani is ranked 9th, whatever that means. Sounds pretty good, I guess.
And get this, they’re playin’ again even later, in 2025! These fellas must really like kickin’ that ball around. By then, I might be too old to even see straight, but I bet folks will still be bettin’ and hollerin’. It’s just the way things are.
So, to sum it up, my prediction, if you can call it that, is Guarani’s gonna win. But like I said, it ain’t a sure thing. It’s just a feelin’ I got, you know? Like when the cows start mooin’ louder before a storm. You just know somethin’s comin’. And I think that somethin’ is a Guarani win. But don’t quote me on that, ya hear?
And remember, it’s just a game. No need to get your britches in a twist over it. There’s more important things in life, like a good cup of coffee and a warm fire. But if you’re gonna watch, might as well pick a side, right? And my side, for this one, is Guarani.
