Okay, so, I was messing around online the other day, just killing time, and I got to thinking about football team mascots. You know, like how some teams have these cool animal mascots and stuff? And it hit me – how many NFL teams actually have birds as their mascots? I mean, I could think of a couple off the top of my head, but I was curious about the full list.
So, I started digging around. I just typed “NFL teams with bird mascots” into the search bar and started reading. Turns out, there’s a decent number of them! I mean, it makes sense, right? Birds are often seen as symbols of freedom, speed, and all that good stuff, which totally fits with the whole football vibe.
First off, I found out about the Baltimore Ravens. That’s a pretty obvious one, I guess. The raven is a big, black bird, kind of mysterious and powerful. It makes for a cool mascot, and I remembered I saw it on their helmets.
Then there are the Philadelphia Eagles. Another big one, I have seen them before. Eagles are majestic, soaring through the air, super strong. It’s a classic choice for a sports team, and their logo is pretty iconic, I should say.

Oh, and I almost forgot about the Seattle Seahawks! Now, a “seahawk” is apparently another name for an osprey, which is this big bird that fishes. Pretty cool, right? I think their logo is one of the more unique ones in the league.
