Hey everyone, so I’ve been on this kick lately, right? Trying to dig up dirt on where all these big-shot coaches live. Today’s target: Bill Belichick. And let me tell you, this guy’s setup in Nantucket is something else.
So, first things first, I started with the usual Google search. Typed in “Bill Belichick Nantucket home” and boom, a bunch of articles popped up. Most of them talked about his compound in ‘Sconset – you know, that fancy area on the east end of the island. Apparently, he’s owned a place there for years.
But then, I stumbled upon something even more interesting. Seems like Bill just snagged another property on Fair Street for a cool $4.8 million. Now, I’m not exactly sure which is which, but the man’s got options, it seems. One article mentioned a waterfront property worth around $10 million, with a 3,500 sq ft main house and a 1,400 sq ft guest house. That sounds about right for a guy with a net worth of $70 million. The other articles mentioned a six-building compound, all with those classic cedar shingles. Makes sense, considering ‘Sconset’s vibe.
Then, I went down the rabbit hole of trying to figure out what he’s making these days, now that he’s not with the Patriots. Some sources said he signed a 5-year deal, and that he’s been on a $10 million salary, which is a pretty penny if you ask me.
Next, I tried to find out when he bought his first place in Nantucket. Seems like he’s been a fan of the island for a while, it might be decades.
And just for kicks, I also looked up his place in Hingham, Massachusetts. Apparently, he bought that one back in 2006 for $1.4 million, and now it’s worth around $2.2 million. Not too shabby, eh?
But the real gem is this Nantucket setup. I mean, imagine having a compound of cedar-shingled homes in one of the most exclusive spots in the country. From what I gathered, it sounds like the perfect place to unwind after a stressful football season.
So, after all this digging, here’s what I’ve pieced together:
- Bill Belichick loves Nantucket. Like, really loves it.
- He’s got at least two properties there – one in ‘Sconset and another on Fair Street.
- His ‘Sconset compound is likely the $10 million waterfront property with the big main house and guest house, and might be made up of six separate buildings.
- He’s got a nice little place in Hingham, too.
- The man is making some serious bank, even without coaching.
Honestly, it all sounds pretty dreamy. I wouldn’t mind trading places with him for a day or two. Just imagine kicking back in one of those ‘Sconset homes, enjoying the ocean breeze. That’s the life, right?
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. It was a fun little investigation, and I hope you all enjoyed the ride. Time to start thinking about who my next target will be…
