Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this NCAA 25 game, trying to figure out the best way to build a quarterback, you know? And let me tell you, it’s been a journey. Started off just picking random stuff, seeing what worked and what didn’t.
First, I tried making this super athletic, running quarterback. I think they call it a “Scrambler.” Thought it would be cool to just run all over the field, dodging tackles and stuff. It was fun for a bit, made some big plays, got some serious yards that way, too. I mean, who doesn’t love juking a defender and taking off for a 50-yard touchdown? Reminds me of when I used to play in high school and do some crazy move.
But then, I realized that running all the time wasn’t really cutting it. I was a big target, it was hard to make those pinpoint throws when I’m always on the move. Also, running like crazy, the other team could figure out what I’m doing pretty easy. And then, they start hitting you, and it hurts. So I started experimenting with different playstyles and different stuff for this player.
I spent hours tweaking stats, trying out different abilities. It was like, a lot of trial and error. I even went down this rabbit hole of checking out what other people were saying online. Forums, you know. It’s a mess. Some people say this, some people say that. You gotta take it all with a grain of salt. Some guy said he loved playing in Purdue, so I thought, “why not?” And I tried it, it was okay.
But then, I stumbled upon this “Improviser” build. It is the only QB archetype I’ve had that make it up to 97-99 overall, at least for me. It’s like a mix of everything. You can still run when you need to, but you’re also really good at throwing. It’s like the best of both worlds. You’re not just a runner, not just a passer. You’re a little bit of everything. It is so much fun, you can run for the first down or you can throw the ball really far. You are not limited to only one thing, that’s boring.
I started focusing on building up this Improviser quarterback, and man, it’s been a game-changer. I’m winning more games, making better plays. My quarterback’s overall rating shot up like crazy. Feels good, you know? Like you finally cracked the code or something.
So yeah, if you’re trying to figure out the best QB build in NCAA 25, I’d say give the Improviser a shot. It might take some time to get used to, but it’s worth it. Trust me, I’ve tried pretty much everything else. Improviser quarterbacks are definitely the way to go, at least for now.
Anyway, that’s my two cents. Just wanted to share my experience, hope it helps someone out there. I just like to talk about these things, and I think maybe somebody out there will think it is useful. You never know. Game on!
