Alright, so you guys know I’m always messing around with stuff, right? This time, I decided to tackle the “Jake Paul – It’s Everyday Bro” song. Don’t judge, it’s catchy, okay?

First things first, I needed to actually listen to the damn song. I know, I know, sounds simple, but I had to really analyze it. What makes it so… it? I put it on repeat, much to the annoyance of my neighbors, I’m sure.
Next up, I started breaking down the structure. Verse, chorus, bridge… the usual stuff. I wrote it all down on a whiteboard – looked like a serial killer’s notepad, honestly.
Then, the fun part! I decided to try and recreate a little snippet of it. Nothing fancy, just the basic beat and maybe a line or two of the… lyrics. cringe
- I fired up GarageBand. Yeah, I’m basic.
- Started with the drums. That’s the backbone, right? I played around with different loops and samples until I found something that had that same kinda… bouncy feel. Took me a solid hour just on the drums.
- Next, the melody. This was trickier than I thought. I’m not a music theory whiz, so I was mostly just plucking around on a MIDI keyboard until something sounded vaguely familiar. Lots of trial and error involved.
- Vocals? Nah. I’m not inflicting my singing on anyone. Instead, I used a text-to-speech thing and made it say “England is my city.” So bad, it’s good, maybe?
Put it all together, and boom! A really, really rough, bootleg version of “Everyday Bro.” It’s not gonna win any Grammys, but hey, I made it.
Honestly? The whole thing was kinda dumb, but I learned a bit about music production, even if it was just scratching the surface. And now I have a newfound respect (sort of) for Jake Paul’s ability to make a song that’s so bad, it’s almost good. Almost.

Would I do it again? Probably not the same song. But maybe I’ll tackle another viral earworm next time. Stay tuned!
