Alright, so I decided to try and build Grom for Brawl Stars. I’m not gonna lie, it was a bit of a head-scratcher at first, but I figured it out eventually. Here’s how it all went down.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out what the heck “grom build” even meant. I’m pretty familiar with Brawl Stars, playing it almost daily you know, but building a character? That was new territory. After some digging around, I realized it’s all about picking the right Star Power, Gadget, and Gears for Grom to make him super effective.
Choosing the Right Stuff
Okay, so Grom’s main attack is throwing a bomb that explodes in a cross pattern. It’s pretty cool, but kinda tricky to aim sometimes. This is were the fun begins. I started to understand each item’s function, which helps to maximize Grom’s performance in the game.
- Star Power: There were two choices – “X-Factor” and “Foot Patrol”. X-Factor makes his Super bomb do more damage the further it travels. Foot Patrol makes Grom move faster when his Super is charged. I went with X-Factor, because who doesn’t like more damage? Seemed like a no-brainer.
- Gadget: Again, two options – “Watchtower” and “Radio Check”. Watchtower throws a little sentry that spots enemies in bushes. Radio Check makes Grom’s next attack split into three bombs instead of one. I chose Radio Check. Three bombs just sounded way more destructive, and covering a wider area seemed useful.
- Gears: I got to use two Gears. This took me a little while. I mean a lot of experimenting with other players. I ended up using a Damage Gear, and a Shield Gear. It was that the extra damage, plus a little bit of extra health when I needed it.
Putting It to the Test
With my build all set, I jumped into some matches. I started throwing bombs everywhere! The Radio Check gadget with the three bombs was awesome for hitting multiple enemies at once, especially when they were clumped together. Nice and simple, right?
The X-Factor Star Power was also noticeable. When I managed to land those long-range Super bombs, they did some serious damage. I felt like a pro, ha!
My Final Thoughts
This whole “grom build” thing turned out to be pretty fun. It’s like customizing your character to make them even better. I’m definitely going to keep using this build, and maybe even try out some different combinations later on. Experimenting is also fun, so I think it is very important to try them out. For now, though, I’m happy with my super-powered Grom!
