Okay, so I’ve been playing this game, Wuthering Waves, and let me tell you, some of these side quests are a real pain. But, there’s this one, the “Shooting Party” quest, that I actually figured out, and I thought I’d share how I did it.
First off, I stumbled upon this quest in the Dim Forest area. I was just wandering around, exploring, and bam, I got this objective to “Investigate the suspicious shooting party.” I was like, “Suspicious? What’s going on here?”
So, I started poking around. I followed the quest marker on the map, and it led me to this spot near the Port City of Guixu, a bit south of it. There was some shady stuff going on with the enemies, and I knew I was in the right place.
Here’s the thing, though. The quest tells you to “Participate in the Novice Challenge,” but it’s not super clear how to do that. I tried a bunch of things, talked to some NPCs, fought some bad guys, but nothing.
Then, I noticed this chair. Yeah, a random chair just sitting there. I thought, “What the heck,” and I interacted with it. Guess what? My character sat down! I was like “Okay, I am sitting, now what?” and after a few seconds, the quest updated. Turns out, I had to sit and wait for something to happen. It’s like the game wanted me to take a little break or something, I guess.
After waiting for a bit in the chair, the “Novice Challenge” started. And it’s pretty much a simple shooting mini-game. I mean, not super exciting, but hey, it’s part of the quest. I had to shoot some targets, nothing too crazy, just some basic aiming and shooting.
Once I finished the shooting challenge, that was it! The quest was marked as complete, and I got my rewards. I heard you get 40 Astrite for finishing it, which is pretty sweet.
So yeah, that’s how I completed the “Shooting Party” quest in Wuthering Waves. It’s a bit weird with the whole chair thing, but once you figure that out, it’s smooth sailing. - Get your rewards. I successfully received the rewards for completing the quest.
