Okay, so the other day I was messing around and decided to look up some old-school basketball players. I ended up going down a rabbit hole about Toni Kukoč, you know, the Croatian Sensation from the Chicago Bulls back in the day.
Getting Started
First, I just opened up my browser and typed in “Toni Kukoč.” Simple enough, right? I just wanted to refresh my memory about his career.
Diving Deeper
I started by browsing general info. I read through his biography, and boy, was that a trip! The guy was a legend in Europe before he even came to the NBA.
I skimmed over his stats, looked at some of his teams and which years he won in the champions.
Watching the Magic
Then, of course, I had to watch some videos.
- I found some awesome highlight reels on video websites. His passing was just insane! The way he could see the court… unreal.
- I watched a few full games, too, just to see him in action, not just the flashy plays. It’s amazing to see how he fit in with Jordan and Pippen.
I really spent a good chunk of time just watching him play. It’s so different from today’s game.
Digging into Articles and Interviews
After getting my fill of videos, I wanted to read some more in-depth stuff. I found a bunch of old articles and interviews.
- There was this one interview where he talked about the challenges of adjusting to the NBA.
That was pretty eye-opening.
- I also read some articles analyzing his playing style. People were calling him a “point forward” before that was even a popular term.
It’s amazing how I can do all of this, find information so quickly. It’s a fantastic tool when used right. I’m very grateful!
