Alright, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Austin Reaves’ 2k24 rating. I’ve been hearing people talk about it, so I fired up the game to check it out myself.
First, I navigated to the roster update section. You know, the usual drill – gotta make sure everything’s current. I scrolled through the teams, found the Lakers, and there he was – Austin Reaves.
And his overall rating? 86. I gotta say, it seems to have gotten up since the game was launched.
- I selected a Play Now.
- Then I choose Lakers.
I jumped into a quick game, just to see him in action. I drove to the basket with him a few times, tried some pull-up jumpers, even posted up a smaller guard once or twice. The controls, the dribbles, the movement, they’re so real.
Honestly,86 overall seems about right, at the beginning. The game’s developers take a long look. Reaves has the skills.
