So, I’ve been a huge WWE fan for years. I always keep track of what’s going on, the new wrestlers, the events, the whole shebang. Recently, I was looking into the latest WWE releases and thought I’d share my little adventure with you guys.
First, I started by checking out what DVDs and Blu-rays they’ve put out in 2022. It’s always cool to see the physical copies, you know? Like, it makes it feel more… real, I guess. They had some photos of a new release, and some artwork for Cody Rhodes, which looked pretty slick.
Then, I went down a rabbit hole and started looking at the complete list of WWE DVDs and Blu-rays ever released. It’s crazy to think about it, but they’ve been putting these things out for over 20 years! I spent hours browsing through the list, it was a real trip down memory lane.
I stumbled upon this old title, “WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It”, and it brought back so many memories. I remember playing that game for hours on end, back in the day. Good times, good times.
Wrestlers Who Got Released
After that, I got curious about the wrestlers who got released in 2024. It’s always a bummer when someone gets let go, but it’s part of the business, I suppose. I found a list, and apparently, on November 6, 2024, Nunzio got released. A few days before that, on November 1, Baron Corbin, Tegan Nox, and Indi Hartwell also got the boot.

- November 1, 2024: Baron Corbin, Tegan Nox, Indi Hartwell
Later on, I found another source that had the names in a different order, saying Indi Hartwell, Tegan Nox, and Baron Corbin were released on November 1, 2024, and Nunzio was released a few days later, on November 6. Either way, those are the folks who got cut.
New Game Coming
Then, I saw some buzz about the new WWE 2K25 game. The release date is just speculation at this point, like January 8, 2025. But it sounds like it’s coming out soon for Xbox and PlayStation. I’m definitely gonna check that out when it drops.
It is said the new entry in the WWE 2K franchise, WWE 2K25, is coming out soon, which got me hyped up.
