Okay, so I came across this name, Richard Colon, the other day. Never heard of him before, but it turns out this guy is a big deal in the breakdancing world. They call him “Crazy Legs” – yeah, pretty fitting, right?
So, I got curious and started digging. Born in ’66 in the Bronx, this dude’s been around since the early days of hip-hop. I was watching some old videos, and man, the moves this guy could pull off back in the day! It’s like watching history unfold right in front of your eyes. He’s part of this crew called the Rock Steady Crew. I mean these guys were like the original B-boys, setting the stage for all the breaking we see today.
First I started looking at his birthday, January 1, 1966. Then I googled him and found out he is also known as Crazy Legs. And I found out he was a part of the Rock Steady Crew. Then I looked up some videos of him dancing.
But then, I stumbled upon another Richard Colon, a boxer. This guy’s story is pretty rough. From what I gathered, he had this boxing match, and things went south. He ended up with a serious brain injury.
First, I thought they were the same person, but then I realized they weren’t. So I started researching the boxer. I found out about the fight he was in. I read about his injury.
It sounds like he was in a coma for a while, couldn’t even talk. Eventually, he got out of the hospital, and now he’s doing therapy. They say he can even communicate now using a computer. It’s a tough story, but it also shows how resilient people can be.
I dug into his recovery process. I found articles about him using a computer to talk. It’s really amazing.
