Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Genshin Impact’s 4.6 update, which dropped on April 24th. I gotta say, it’s been quite the ride! I started out by updating the game – took a bit, but hey, what’s new with these big updates, right?
First things first, I checked out the new banners. Arlecchino finally made her entrance, which was super cool! I spent some time pulling on her banner and was able to get her. The banners, from what I gather, are gonna be up until May 14th, so there’s plenty of time to try your luck. I used what I saved up, but also I bought some of those Genesis Crystals since I really wanted Arlecchino, and hey, it paid off!
Events Galore
Man, the events in this update are something else. I jumped into the “Iridescent Arataki Rockin’ For Life Tour De Force of Awesomeness” event first. It was a blast! The whole vibe of the event, with the music and challenges, was just so much fun. I spent a good chunk of my playtime just messing around in this event, collecting rewards, and enjoying the story. That’s really cool name, to be honest!
After that, I moved on to the “Windtrace: Seekers and Strategy” event. It’s always a good time playing hide and seek in Genshin, and this event didn’t disappoint. I played a few rounds, sometimes as the hunter, sometimes as the hider. It’s a nice break from the usual combat-focused gameplay, and I found myself laughing out loud a few times. This time, they really put in some great new features. It was so much fun seeing the other players freak out. I managed to pull one over on them a few times, too!
Other Stuff I Noticed
- New Weapons: I haven’t gotten my hands on any of the new weapons yet, but I’ve seen some gameplay, and they look pretty sweet. I’m planning to try and get them before the banners end. Just saving up some resources for now.
- Character Interactions: There’s some cool new character interactions and story content that I’ve been exploring. I won’t spoil anything, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into the lore of the game. There is a lot of new stuff to explore!
- Overall Vibe: The whole atmosphere of the game feels refreshed with this update. I’ve been enjoying just running around, exploring, and taking in the scenery. Also, there is a new map area. I went there and found some materials that helped me level up my characters.
So yeah, that’s my experience with Genshin Impact’s 4.6 update so far. I’m still in the thick of it, but I wanted to share my initial thoughts and what I’ve been up to. This update really brought a lot of interesting things to do. It is quite exciting to have this new character, but the events are super fun, too!
