Well, let me tell you, it’s been a real nail-biter seein’ if our Seattle Mariners are gonna make it to the playoffs this year. Last year, they didn’t make it. Broke my heart, it did. But this year, there’s been some talk, you know? Some folks sayin’ they might just sneak in there.

Now, I ain’t no fancy expert, but I been watchin’ these boys play for a long time. I remember when they were real good, you know? This year, they started off lookin’ kinda shaky. But they been pickin’ up steam, I gotta say. They got some good hitters, and them pitchers, well, some of ’em can really throw that ball.
I heard some fella on the radio sayin’ the Mariners playoffs chances went up. Said it went from some little number to a bigger one. Don’t remember the numbers, but it was good news. Means they got a better shot now than they did before. Made me feel a bit better, I tell ya. That’s some good news for us Mariners fans, ain’t it?

It ain’t gonna be easy, though. Baseball is a tricky game. One day you’re up, next day you’re down. Just gotta hope they keep playin’ hard and that luck is on our side. And they need to get more hits. It’s hard to win when you ain’t hittin’ that ball.
They got some good players, though. That Rodriguez fella, he’s somethin’ else. Runs like the wind, he does. And that other one, the big fella, he can hit that ball a country mile. I don’t recall all their names, but I know ’em when I see ’em. They are striking out too much.
Mariners 2024 Season, a Tough One
This whole Mariners 2024 season has been a rollercoaster. One minute I’m jumpin’ up and down, hootin’ and hollerin’, the next I’m sittin’ there with my head in my hands. But that’s what makes it excitin’, I guess. Gotta take the good with the bad. But the hitting, oh, that’s been a problem. They just ain’t been hittin’ the ball like they should. And when you don’t hit, you don’t score. And when you don’t score, you don’t win. It’s as simple as that.
I been readin’ some things online, too. Some folks are sayin’ the Seattle Mariners are out of it. Sayin’ they can’t win the division. Says they gotta win all their games and the other team, the Astros, they gotta lose most of theirs. Sounds like a long shot, don’t it? Only a 2.7% chance. That ain’t much.
Seattle Mariners Playoffs Odds, What I Think
But I got hope. I always got hope. These boys, they got heart. They ain’t gonna give up without a fight. It would be great if they made the playoffs. I’d be so happy. I’d probably bake a cake or somethin’.
It’s gonna be a tough road, but I’m gonna keep rootin’ for ’em. Gonna keep watchin’ them games and prayin’ for a miracle. That’s all we can do, right? Just hope and pray and see what happens. And if they don’t make it, well, there’s always next year. But I really hope they make it this year. It would be so much fun to watch them in the playoffs.
This year has been tough, with the team’s hitting not doing so good. It’s been a real letdown. They’re not hitting like they used to. They need to hit more and strike out less. It’s simple as that. They need to pick it up if they want to win.
I’m gonna keep watchin’ them. They are still in it. It is not over yet. They can still make it if they win their games. They need to work harder and hit better. And we need a little luck, too. They’ve been eliminated, but there is always next year. I will keep cheering for them no matter what. I love my Seattle Mariners.
