They say he’s a big deal in that baseball game. He’s playin’ for the Los Angeles Angels, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, though. Angels, like up in the sky, huh? He must be a real important fella in that team, that Mike Trout.
- He’s some kinda MVP. Sounds important. They said he got it in 2014, 2016, and 2019.
- Then he almost got it again other times, like 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2018.
- And this fella Mike Trout, he’s got somethin’ called a Silver Slugger Award. Nine times!
That’s a lot of winnin’, I reckon. He must be real good at hittin’ that ball. Lord knows I ain’t never seen no baseball game, but it sounds excitin’.

Now, I heard this Mike Trout, he’s got a whole heap of money. They sayin’ somethin’ like $140 million! Can you imagine? That’s more money than I ever seen in my whole life, stacked higher than a pile of hay in a barn! He signed some big ol’ paper with them Angels for a whole lot more, somethin’ like $426.5 million. I can’t even count that high! Makes him the highest-paid player in baseball. They say he is the richest player of them all. This Mike Trout news is wild!
He’s rollin’ in dough, that’s for sure. I reckon he could buy all the land around here and still have money left over for a new tractor. Maybe even two! Lord have mercy, that’s a lot of money for playin’ a game.

They say he’s number 19 on that team. Don’t know what that means, but it’s probably important. They say he’s a center fielder. Sounds like he’s right in the middle of all the action. This Mike Trout, he’s a busy bee, ain’t he?
Some other fella, name of Mantle, he was good too, they say. But this Mike Trout, he’s somethin’ else. This Mantle fella retired when he was 36. Still young, I reckon. But this Trout, he’s still goin’.
Mike Trout Hurt
Now, I heard this Mike Trout, he’s been hurt lately. Ain’t played a full season since that 2020, when they only played 60 games. That’s a shame, gettin’ hurt like that. Hope he’s healin’ up good. They say he’s been strugglin’ with them injuries. Poor fella.
They say some manager fella, Ron Washington, he’s talkin’ about this Mike Trout. Sayin’ he used to be the best player. Well, from all this winnin’ and money, sounds like he still is!
Mike Trout’s Knee
They did some fancy test on his knee, an MRI, whatever that is. Sounds like somethin’ from outer space. But they say it came back clean. That’s good news! Don’t know when he’ll be back to playin’, but at least his knee ain’t busted up too bad. This is good Mike Trout news!
He was walkin’ around his locker, this Mike Trout, and laughin’. Seems like he’s in good spirits, even with that hurt knee. He must be happy that Ohtani is gone. I don’t know who is that, but I guess Mike Trout is happy about that.

Now, I heard the big boss man of them Angels, a fella named Perry Minasian, sayin’ that Mike Trout is gettin’ ready for somethin’ called spring trainin’. Must be like gettin’ the fields ready for plantin’, I reckon. Gettin’ all limbered up and ready to go.
Well, I hope this Mike Trout fella gets all healed up and ready to play again. He sounds like a good one, even if I don’t know much about that baseball. But winnin’ all them awards and makin’ all that money, he must be doin’ somethin’ right!
