Now, who gives you this job? That Lab Rat, that’s who. She’s the one you gotta sweet talk to get this thing goin’. She’s one of them vendors, you see. First, you gotta find her. She hangs out somewhere on that Lamang island.
Unlock Artisan, That’s the Goal
This whole thing’s about levels and quests, sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. But that’s how you get to Artisan, and that Turncoat fella too, I hear. You gotta climb that ladder, doin’ what they tell ya. Seems like a lot of work just to buy somethin’, don’t it? But hey, that’s how these youngsters do things these days.
So, you want Artisan? You gotta wait. Yeah, you heard me right, wait. You gotta wait till you get that “Native Negotiations” job. It ain’t gonna just fall in your lap. Lab Rat, she’s the key. She won’t give it to just anyone. You gotta prove yourself, I reckon. Do some other stuff for her first, then maybe she’ll trust ya.
This fella, Abhishek Mallick, I don’t know him, but he seems to know a thing or two about this Gray Zone business. He’s got the word “Gray” in his name, so maybe he’s an expert. Maybe you should find this Abhishek fella and ask him yourself. I am too old for this baloney.
What’s Artisan Sellin’?
Now, this Artisan, he’s like that Gunny fella. Sells weapons, big ones, small ones. But Artisan, he’s got them special local weapons. You know, the ones they make right there on that island. Probably somethin’ special about ’em. I don’t know nothin’ about guns, though.

Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy guns. We had sticks and stones! And we were happy to have ’em! Kids these days, always needin’ the newest thing.
More Vendors Than You Can Shake a Stick At
There’s a whole bunch of these vendor folks. Handshake, Gunny, Lab Rat, they’re the first ones you meet when you join up with one of them Factions. Sounds like gangs to me. But to get to the others, you gotta do more of them quests. More work, more waitin’.
They got names like Banshee and Buena Suerte. Sounds like a bunch of hocus pocus if you ask me. Why can’t they just have regular names like John or Mary? Makes things a whole lot simpler.
This whole Gray Zone Warfare game, it’s all about runnin’ around, doin’ favors, gettin’ new stuff. Back in my day, we entertained ourselves. We didn’t need no fancy games. We played outside, in the dirt! And we liked it!
Gettin’ In and Out of that Play Zone
There’s somethin’ called a “play zone”. Sounds silly, don’t it? Like a playground. But I guess it’s where all the action happens in this Gray Zone thing. They say there’s a video that shows you how to get in and out of it. Probably just a bunch of kids runnin’ around shootin’ each other. Violence, that’s all it is.
I remember when the only “play zone” we had was the whole darn town! We’d run from sunup to sundown, and nobody told us where we could and couldn’t go. These days, it’s all rules and regulations.
That Lamang Island
This whole Gray Zone Warfare thing, it takes place on some island called Lamang. They say it’s in Southeast Asia. I ain’t never been, but it sounds hot. And probably full of bugs. I don’t like bugs. Give me a good ol’ fashioned fly swatter any day.
I bet they got all sorts of strange critters on that island. Things we ain’t never seen before. Maybe that’s why they call it the Gray Zone. ‘Cause it’s all unknown and mysterious. Or maybe it’s just ’cause they like the color gray. Who knows?
So, there you have it. That’s how you unlock Artisan in Gray Zone Warfare. You gotta do that “Native Negotiations” job for Lab Rat, and you gotta do a whole lot of other stuff too. It’s a lot of work, but I guess that’s how these things go. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go sit on my porch and watch the world go by. That’s my kind of entertainment.
