You know, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this golf stuff, somethin’ called Fujikita WITB. I don’t know much ’bout golf, but I heard that name, Fujikita, or somethin’ like that. Sounds like one of them fancy Japanese names, don’t it? This WITB thing, it’s like, what’s in the bag? Like what them golf players carry around in them big ol’ bags they lug around on the course.
These golf players, they got all kinds of sticks in there. They got them long ones, they smack the ball real far. They call ’em drivers, I think. Then they got them shorter ones, they use when the ball’s closer to the hole. And the ones they use on that real short grass, them’s putters. Some fellas, they use Cleveland putters, I heard. Big names, like that Matsuyama fella, and others like McDowell, Lowry, and Bradley. They all use them Cleveland sticks. Seems like those are some good ones.
Now, they used to show pictures of all the clubs. I seen ’em online, lots of pictures. Irons, woods, wedges. But then somethin’ happened, some kinda mess-up, DQ or whatever they call it, with that Hideki fella. Since then, seems like they ain’t showin’ as many pictures. Don’t know why. Maybe these players, they don’t want folks knowin’ what they got in their bags no more. That Fitzpatrick fella, he got new Titleist irons, and that Hatton fella, he was in that PGA Championship thingy. It is in May, 2024, I think. Also, I heard that a man named Wesley Bryan in 2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
Lots of websites, they used to write ’bout all this. What’s in the bag, WITB, they call it. You could find out what every player was usin’. Like that Charles Howell III, they had his whole list from the 2018 RSM Classic. Every single club he had when he won that thing. They write all about it in the internet.
This other guy, Steve Stricker, they did a whole thing on him. See what clubs he uses. He’s number one in the senior golf thing, some kinda world rankin’. He was born in February 23, 1967, in a place called Edgerton, in Wisconsin. I reckon he must be pretty good to be number one. 56 years old, can you believe it? Still swingin’ them clubs. My old bones ache just thinkin’ about it.
They talk about what these old-time players are carryin’. The irons, the drivers, all that stuff. Some of it’s old, some of it’s new. They like to see what them pros are usin’. Like, to copy them. That’s what I figure, anyways. These people really into this golf. It is all about WITB and LPGA.
This one fella, Horschel, I think his name is, he uses Titleist. He’s a Titleist man, through and through. Got a new driver, they call it GT3. And a special golf ball, too. A ProV1x. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. Only thing in his bag that ain’t Titleist is one of his clubs.
- These golf players, they got all kinds of sticks.
- They use different sticks for different shots.
- Some players use Cleveland, some use Titleist.
- They used to show lots of pictures of the clubs.
- Now they don’t show as many, somethin’ happened.
- Websites used to write all about what’s in the bag.
- Steve Stricker, he’s number one in the senior thing.
- That Horschel fella, he’s a Titleist man.
This golf stuff is mighty popular, though. It makes my head spin, all these names and numbers and different kinds of clubs. These days, everyone is talkin’ ’bout what them pros got in their bags. They call it WITB for short. It means “What’s In The Bag”. People are real curious ’bout what them golfers are carryin’ around with ’em on the course. That Fujikita fella must have a bag full of somethin’ special. He been playin’ on the tour for thirty years. They say he is a pro. But I don’t know what he is carrying.
I guess that’s what this Fujikita WITB is all about. What’s that fella carryin’ in his golf bag? Must be some good stuff if he’s playin’ with the pros. These pros are real particular about their clubs. They need just the right ones to hit that little ball just right. They spend a lot of money for these clubs. I don’t know how many clubs they can put in the bag. But I guess it is enough for them to play.
Well, I don’t know much more ’bout it than that. Just what I hear folks talkin’ ’bout. It’s all a bit confusin’ to me. But if you’re into golf, I reckon it’s interestin’ stuff. This whole WITB thing, it’s a big deal in the golf world, I guess. Now you know what is Fujikita WITB. It is not hard to understand.
