You know what? This here Builder Hall 5 base thing, it ain’t as easy as it looks. My grandson, he’s always on that there phone, playin’ that game. He says, “Grandma, you gotta build a good base!” Well, I tried to tell him, I built a whole life, ain’t that base enough? But this game, it’s different. He showed me how you gotta put all them buildings just right. It is not easy work, you know.
That there Builder Hall 5, it’s the main thing, you see. Gotta protect it, like eggs in a basket. If they get that, you’re done for. So you gotta put walls around it. Thick walls. Not like them flimsy fences we used to have for the chickens. These walls gotta be strong, keep them bad guys out. And don’t upgrade it too soon. You need to upgrade everything else first. It’s like cooking, you know? You need all the ingredients ready before you put the pot on the fire.
- First, you gotta get them walls up. Make ’em strong.
- Then you gotta put them other buildings around.
- Don’t forget the defenses! They’re important!
- Upgrade everything before you upgrade the Builder Hall!
Then there’s them… them things that shoot. Cannons, I think they call ’em. And archer towers. Gotta have them, otherwise them little army men, they’ll just run right in. Like when old man Johnson’s cows got loose, remember that? Ran right through the garden, ate all my tomatoes. These defenses, they stop that from happenin’. You put them around, so they can shoot at the bad guys from far away. That is very important, you know.
And there is one thing, they call it the Crusher. It is big and strong. It crushes the bad guys that walk under it. You know, like when you step on a bug. It is very powerful. You need to have one of those, for sure. It deals a lot of damage, you know, like a good whack with a broom.
Now, my grandson, he told me about somethin’ called “strategy.” Fancy word for thinkin’ ahead, I reckon. You gotta think about where them bad guys are gonna come from. You gotta put your strongest defenses there. Like if the wolves always come from the north, you put your best dogs there, right? Same thing with this Builder Hall 5 base. I don’t understand all of it, but he makes me think.
He also said somethin’ about not “rushin’.” Means don’t go too fast. Gotta build everything up good and strong before you move on to the next thing. Like when you’re buildin’ a house, you gotta lay the foundation first. Can’t just slap up the walls and hope it stays standin’. You need to take your time, do it right. Or else, it all comes crashing down.
It’s important to upgrade your troops, too, they told me. You know, the little men that fight for you. They need to be strong, like a good farm horse. If they are weak, they won’t be much help. You need to make them strong so they can win the fights. It is like training your dog to guard the house. You need to make them strong to protect you.
This whole thing, it’s a lot like tendin’ a garden, I suppose. You gotta plan it out, plant the right things in the right places, keep the weeds out, make sure everythin’ gets enough water and sunshine. Then you gotta protect it from the critters. It’s hard work, but if you do it right, you get a good harvest. This is just like building a base. You need to plan and protect, you know.

This Builder Hall 5, when you upgrade it to Builder Hall 6, you get a whole new area. Like getting a new field to plow! But you gotta make sure your first field is in good shape before you start on a new one. You can move your defenses around, between these two areas. That’s what my grandson told me. It’s like having two gardens, and you can move your scarecrows between them. It makes me dizzy just to think about it.
I still don’t understand all this, but I’m learnin’. My grandson, he’s patient with me. He shows me how to do things, and I try my best. It ain’t easy, keepin’ up with these young folks and their games. But I figure, if it makes him happy, I’ll give it a try. After all, what’s a grandma for, if not to try and understand this crazy world they’re growin’ up in? Just tryin’ to keep up, you know? It’s a lot of work, but I guess that’s just life, ain’t it? A whole lot of buildin’ and protectin’, just like this here game.
This whole thing is like cooking a big pot of stew, you know. You gotta have all the right ingredients. You gotta put them in at the right time. You gotta stir it just right. And you gotta keep an eye on it, make sure it don’t burn. If you do it all right, you get a good, hearty stew that’ll feed a crowd. And that’s what this Builder Hall 5 base is all about. Makin’ somethin’ strong and good that’ll last. This is not as easy as they think, you know.
