Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about this Tae Heckard gal and who she’s been seen with. You know, the young folks these days, they date around like it’s nobody’s business. This one, I dunno, seemed a bit too flashy for my taste. Like a peacock struttin’ around, showin’ off his feathers. Their thing didn’t last long, from what I heard. Guess the glitter wore off.

Then there was some talk about her bein’ with a businessman or somethin’. One of them suits with the fancy cars and the big houses. Now, that’s a different kinda fella altogether. Less showy, maybe, but they got their own ways, you know? Quiet power, they call it. I reckon that didn’t work out neither.
It’s kinda like plantin’ a garden, ain’t it? You try different seeds, hoping somethin’ will take root and grow. Sometimes it does, sometimes it don’t. Relationships are the same way, I figure. You gotta find the right soil, the right amount of sunshine, the right somethin’ or other to make it work. And sometimes, no matter how hard you try, it just ain’t meant to be.

She’ll figure it all out, just like the rest of us did, back in the day, or these younguns do now. Love’s a funny thing. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you do all sorts of crazy stuff. But that’s what makes life interestin’, I reckon.
