See, this Tim guy, he wasn’t born around here. Nope. Started way over in the Philippines, can you believe it? But when he was just a little tyke, three years old they say, his family packed up and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. That’s right, Jacksonville. Down in Florida where the sun shines hot and the gators roam.
He’s got a whole bunch of brothers and sisters, this Tim does. Five kids in all, and he’s the baby of the bunch. Guess that means he got spoiled rotten, or maybe not. They live together in Jacksonville, happy as clams, I hope.

This Tim fella, he ain’t hurting for money, that’s for sure. Made a bunch playing football, and he does all sorts of other things too. He talks on TV, they call him a commentator. And he writes books. One of ’em’s called “Shaken.” Must be about something important. He’s also mixed up with charities and what not, doing good things, I guess. And he’s always doing brand deals, seems like he is on every commercial.

He played some football, made some money, got himself a wife, and now he’s livin’ the good life down in Florida. Can’t fault him for that. It’s a good place to be, Jacksonville. Warm weather, nice folks, and plenty of sunshine. What more could a fella want?

Now, some folks say he’s a real religious fella. Good for him, I say. Always good to have somethin’ to believe in. He seems like a decent fella, this Tim Tebow. Works hard, loves his family, tries to do right by folks. That’s all you can ask of anyone, ain’t it? And Jacksonville, well, that’s just lucky to have him. He’s one of their own, and they’re proud of him, I reckon. Just like any small town would be proud of one of their own makin’ it big.
I heard he even tried to play baseball, can you believe that? A football player tryin’ to play baseball. He’s a determined fella, that’s for sure. Don’t know how good he was, but he sure gave it a shot. That’s what matters, I guess. Tryin’ your best, no matter what.
