Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about this… what’s her name…Lashontae Heckard, yeah, that’s it. Folks call her Tae, fancy name for a fancy gal, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t no city slicker, but even I heard whispers about her. They say she’s a big deal actress, been in some movies and all. ATL, they call one of ‘em. Never seen it myself, mind you. Too busy tendin’ to the chickens and whatnot.
But this Tae gal, she ain’t just famous for acting. Seems she’s got a knack for catchin’ the eye of famous fellas too. First there was this Monique Blanton, back in the day, from ‘08 to ‘11, they say. Then, she went and got herself mixed up with Brandon Jennings. Basketball player, I think. These city folks and their sports, always runnin’ around after balls.

And now? Now she’s with Stefon Diggs, that football player. He’s a wide receiver, whatever that means. Thirty-one years old, they tell me. Young enough to be my grandson, almost. But hey, love don’t care about age, I guess. Or maybe it does, I don’t rightly know.
Stefon, he’s a big shot too, just like her. Seems they’re a match made in… well, wherever famous folks make their matches. Hollywood, maybe? Or one of them fancy stadiums.
I saw some pictures of her online, had my grandson show me. She’s a looker, that’s for sure. All dolled up and smilin’. But I bet she ain’t never milked a cow or slopped a hog. City life is different, I tell ya.
It’s funny, ain’t it? How some folks live in big mansions and go to red carpets, and others, like me, we’re just happy to have a roof over our heads and a warm fire in the winter. But we all got our stories, I guess. Hers just happens to be splashed all over the internet and them gossip magazines.
I don’t keep up with all the drama, mind you. Got enough of my own with the chickens gettin’ into the garden and the roof leakin’ again. But it’s kinda interestin’ to hear about these folks livin’ in a whole different world. Makes you wonder, don’t it?
Stefon Diggs and Tae Heckard… they seem happy enough in them pictures. Hope they stay that way. Love’s a tricky thing, whether you’re a famous actress or just a plain old woman like me. It can lift you up high or knock you down flat. Just gotta hold on tight and hope for the best.
Heck, I don’t even have a phone myself, let alone an Instagram. My grandson showed me though, he says Tae Heckard has followers, like a bunch of sheep following the shepherd, only online. Said one account has 229 followers and another has 153. Seems like a lot of folks are interested in what she’s up to. Well, good for her, I say. Everybody’s gotta make a livin’ somehow.
So that’s the lowdown on Lashontae Heckard, or Tae, as they call her. Actress, girlfriend of a football player, and a whole lot of other things I probably don’t even understand. She’s livin’ her life, and I’m livin’ mine. And that’s just the way it should be. Different roads, same destination, I reckon. We’re all just tryin’ to make our way in this world, ain’t we?
Stefon Diggs seems like a nice enough fella, from what I’ve seen on that there television when my grandson watches them games. Hope he treats her right. A woman deserves to be treated with respect, no matter how famous she is or ain’t. That’s what my old man always used to say, and he was a wise one, he was.
Well, I reckon I’ve talked your ear off enough about this Tae Heckard. Time for me to go feed them chickens and get supper started. But it was nice yappin’ with ya for a bit. Maybe we’ll do it again sometime.
And who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually watch that ATL movie. But probably not. Got too much to do around here. Life in the country ain’t glamorous, but it’s honest work. And that’s good enough for me.
