Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Von Miller fella and his girlfriend, or whatever she is to him. I heard some stuff on the TV, you know, the thing in the corner that yells at you all day. They were jabberin’ about some trouble he got into.
So, who is this Von Miller guy anyway? Well, from what I gather, he plays that football game, the one where big ol’ boys run around smackin’ into each other. He’s a big shot for the Buffalo Bills, whatever a “Buffalo Bill” is. Sounds like a wild west show to me. They said he’s a “linebacker.” Sounds like he just stands in the back, waitin’ to tackle folks. He’s from Texas, that’s what I heard. DeSoto, Texas, to be exact. Probably hot as blazes down there.
Now, this girlfriend of his… or maybe she’s his baby mama… they didn’t make it too clear. Her name’s Megan Denise, they said. Apparently, she’s got a couple of kids with this Von fella. Poor gal, probably got her hands full. And guess what, they said she’s pregnant again! Lord have mercy.
- The trouble started, from what I could piece together, on a Wednesday mornin’. Somethin’ happened at their house in Dallas.
- The police got involved, and they started talkin’ about “affidavits” and “arrest warrants.” Sounds like fancy talk for “he messed up bad.”
- They say he roughed her up. That ain’t right, no sir. No matter who you are, you don’t go around hittin’ on women, especially not when they’re carryin’ your baby.
This whole thing got him into hot water with that football league, the NFL. They suspended him, they said, for four games. Four games! That’s a lot of smackin’ folks he’s gonna miss out on. They called it a “personal conduct policy” violation. Sounds like they got rules about beatin’ up your lady, which is a good thing, I reckon.
Megan Denise, she put some stuff on that “Instagram” thing. I don’t know much about that, but apparently it’s where young folks go to yap all day. She was probably tellin’ her side of the story, or maybe just showin’ off her pretty face. Who knows with these youngsters?
Now, I ain’t one to gossip, but it sounds like this Von Miller fella needs to get his act together. You can’t go around beatin’ up women and expect to get away with it. Not in my book, anyway. And with a new baby on the way, he should be takin’ care of that Megan gal, not causin’ her trouble. I tell ya, these fellas with all their money and fame, they think they can do whatever they want. Well, they can’t, not in God’s eyes, they can’t.
It’s a shame, really. He’s a talented fella, that Von Miller. Throws a ball real good, or tackles real good, or whatever it is he does. But talent ain’t everything. You gotta be a good person too. And from what I’ve heard, he ain’t been actin’ too good lately. Hope he learns his lesson and straightens up. For his own sake, and for the sake of that little baby on the way.
I tell you what, life is complicated. These young folks with their fancy phones and their fancy lives, they got more problems than a hen house got fleas. Maybe they should just slow down, go to church, and try to be decent human beings. That’s what I think, anyway.
So that’s the story, as best as I can piece it together. Von Miller, football star, got in trouble with the law and the football league for messin’ with his girlfriend, or baby mama, whatever you wanna call her. It ain’t a pretty story, but it’s a story that needs tellin’. Maybe folks will learn somethin’ from it. Maybe not. But I done told it, and that’s all that matters.
