So, I’ve been wanting a good Liv Morgan mug for ages. You know, something cool to have my morning coffee in. Looked around, didn’t find exactly what I wanted, or they were kinda pricey. Figured, why not just make one myself?

Getting Started – The Bits and Pieces
First thing, gotta get the stuff together. Wasn’t too complicated, really.
-
Needed a plain white mug. Found a decent one, nice and sturdy.
-
Got some of that special heat transfer paper for ceramics. You can find it online easy enough.
-
My trusty old inkjet printer.
-
An iron. A heat press would be fancy, but my regular iron worked fine.
-
Scissors, maybe some tape.
-
And of course, a cool picture of Liv!
Prepping the Design
Okay, so I spent a bit finding the right photo. Wanted one where she looked awesome, you know? Found a good one. Had to flip it horizontally on my computer – gotta remember that for transfer paper, otherwise, it prints backward on the mug. Printed it onto the shiny side of that transfer paper. Let the ink dry properly, that’s important. Then, cut the picture out, leaving a tiny border.
Also gave the mug a good wash and dry. Make sure there’s no dust or grease on it.
Putting it all Together
This is where the magic happens, or where you mess it up, haha. Carefully placed the cut-out picture face down onto the mug where I wanted it. Used a bit of heat-resistant tape just to hold it steady, cause my hands can be a bit shaky.

Then, fired up the iron. Set it to a medium-high heat, no steam. Pressed the iron firmly over the transfer paper, moving it around slowly but keeping good pressure. Did this for a few minutes, like the instructions on the paper said. Gotta make sure all parts get enough heat.
Let it cool down! This part needs patience. Waited till the mug and paper were cool enough to touch.
Then, slowly, carefully, peeled off the transfer paper. And there she was! Liv Morgan, right on my mug.
The Final Mug!
Looked pretty neat, I gotta say. The colors came out alright. It’s not perfect like store-bought maybe, but it’s mine. Made it myself. Feels good using it for my coffee now. Just gotta remember to hand wash it gently, probably not dishwasher safe, but that’s okay.
So yeah, that was my little project. Pretty straightforward, really. If you want a custom mug, give it a try.
