Alright folks, let me tell you about this crazy project I tackled. It all started with me being super into wrestling again, specifically these two dudes, Karrion Kross and Bray Wyatt (RIP). Something about their whole dark, spooky vibe just grabbed me. And you know me, I get obsessed, I gotta do something with it.

So, the tattoos. Kross has those awesome Roman numerals, and Wyatt, well, his whole look is iconic, but those tattoos… they tell a story, right? I figured, why not try to replicate them? Not permanently, mind you, I ain’t going that far! I’m talking temporary tattoos, something cool for a convention or just messing around.
First, I did a bunch of research. Scouring images, wrestling forums, trying to get a clear look at the designs. Kross’s were pretty straightforward – Roman numerals, you can find those anywhere. But Wyatt’s? Man, those were intricate. Tribal designs, the buzzard, all that stuff. Hard to make out clearly!
Next, I jumped online and started messing around with image editing software. I’m no artist, that’s for sure. But I managed to trace over the existing images, clean them up, and get them ready to print. This took way longer than I expected. Like, hours of tweaking and cursing at the screen.
Then came the fun part – printing. I bought some temporary tattoo paper online (Amazon, duh!). It’s basically a special kind of decal paper. You print your design in reverse, stick it to your skin, wet it, and peel off the backing. Sounds easy, right? Well, it took a few tries to get the printing right. The first couple of attempts were either too light or all smudged.
After a bit of trial and error, I finally got some decent looking tattoos. I carefully cut them out, making sure to get close to the edges. Then I grabbed a friend, because ain’t nobody reaching their own back to apply a tattoo. We followed the instructions on the tattoo paper, pressing the wet paper against the skin for about 30 seconds.

And bam! We had some pretty convincing Karrion Kross and Bray Wyatt inspired temporary tattoos. They weren’t perfect, mind you. A little smudgy in places, and definitely not as crisp as the real thing. But hey, for a DIY project, I was pretty stoked!
I wore them to a local wrestling show, and got a bunch of compliments. People were asking where I got them done. I even had a couple of folks ask if they were real! That’s when I knew I’d nailed it.
Would I do it again? Absolutely. It was a fun, creative way to express my fandom. And who knows, maybe next time I’ll try something even more ambitious. But for now, I’m pretty happy rocking my temporary ink.
