Alright, so the new HSR 2.4 update dropped, or at least the buzz about it started, and you know what that means – time to hunt for those freebie codes. It’s become a bit of a ritual, hasn’t it? Gotta grab those Stellar Jades.
First thing I did was the usual routine. Popped open my phone, started scouring the usual places. You know, checked the official social media spots, peeked into a couple of fan forums I lurk in. Sometimes they drop ’em right away, sometimes it feels like a treasure hunt designed by someone who enjoys mild frustration. Found a lot of speculation, people asking, but no solid codes right off the bat this time.
Digging for Codes
Spent a good chunk of time refreshing pages, scrolling through feeds. Honestly, it gets a bit tedious. Why can’t they just put them all in one easy-to-find spot? But nope, gotta make us work for it, I guess. Saw a few posts claiming they had codes, but they looked kinda sketchy, probably old ones or just fake. You get good at spotting those after a while.
Finally, someone in a Discord group I’m in shared a couple that looked legit. They usually get reliable info there. So, decided to give those a shot. Didn’t want to get my hopes too high, but free stuff is free stuff.
Redeeming the Goods
Okay, time for the slightly annoying part. Fired up the game. Waited through the loading screens, you know how it is. Then, went through the process:
- Opened the phone menu in the top corner.
- Clicked on that little icon, the three dots (…).
- Selected the ‘Redemption Code’ option.
- Carefully typed in the first code. Always double-check these things, made that mistake before.
- Hit ‘Confirm’. Got that little ‘Redeemed Successfully’ message. Nice.
- Did the same for the second code someone shared. That one worked too.
Felt pretty good seeing those confirmation messages pop up. It’s like a small victory against the gacha gods.
What I Got
Checked my mailbox in the game straight away. Yep, two new messages waiting for me. Opened them up, and bam! Got some Stellar Jades, which is always the main prize, right? Also got some credits and maybe some character EXP materials, the usual mix. Nothing earth-shattering, but hey, it adds up. Every little bit helps when you’re saving for that next banner.
So yeah, that was my little adventure tracking down the HSR 2.4 codes today. A bit of a search, a bit of typing, but got some decent rewards in the end. Definitely worth the small effort if you ask me. If you haven’t grabbed them yet, better go look before they expire!
