Alright, so I wanted to figure out how to request a trade in MLB The Show 24. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and I always like to shake things up with my team. So, here’s how I went about it.

Getting Started
First, I fired up the game and jumped into my “Road to the Show” career. This is where you create your own player and try to make it to the big leagues, you know, the usual story.
Checking My Player’s Status
Once I was in, I went to check on my player’s stats and stuff. I wanted to see how I was doing and if I was even in a good position to ask for a trade. I made sure I was playing well – hitting those home runs and making those crucial plays. Nobody wants a player who’s slacking, right?
Finding the Right Menu
Next, I started poking around the menus. I remember in older versions, it used to be somewhere in the “My Player” or “My Career” section. So, I went digging through those.
- I went to the “My Ballplayer” tab.
- Then I looked under “Locker Room”.
Interacting with My Agent
I finally figured out, I need to interact with my agent. Found the “My Agent” option, and from there, it gave me a few choices.
I chose the conversation options to talk about wanting a change of scenery, that kind of talk.
Making the Request
After a bit of back-and-forth with the agent in the game, I finally got the option to formally request a trade. It wasn’t instant; I had to kind of build up to it by expressing my, you know, “unhappiness” or “desire for a new opportunity.” Once I did that, boom – the trade request option popped up.
Waiting for the Results
Now, the waiting game. It’s not like you get traded immediately. The game makes you wait a bit, which is kind of realistic. After a few in-game days, I got a notification that my trade request had been processed, and I was off to a new team!
So, that’s how I did it. It took a bit of poking around, but it wasn’t too hard. Just make sure you’re playing well and then go talk to your agent in the game. Good luck getting traded to your dream team!
