Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your instructions and example:

So, I’ve been trying to get better at picking “home runs” – you know, those stocks that just explode upwards. I’m no expert, far from it, but I figured I’d share what I’ve been doing and how it’s been going. It’s messy, it’s probably dumb, but hey, it’s my journey.
My Totally Unprofessional Process
First, I started just by reading everything. Like, seriously everything. News articles, those annoying pop-up ads, even those spam emails that promise you’ll get rich quick. Obviously, I didn’t click the links, but I started noticing patterns. Certain companies kept popping up, certain sectors… it was all noise at first, but slowly, things started to sound a little less…noisy.
Then, I made a list. A big, messy, probably inaccurate list of all the companies that seemed to be getting a lot of hype. I didn’t even know what half of them did, but hey, that’s what Google is for, right?
- Company A – Some tech thingy.
- Company B – Something about electric cars?
- Company C – Makes…food? I don’t know.
Next, I actually tried to understand what these companies did. This was the hardest part. Some of them were in industries I knew absolutely nothing about. I felt like I was back in school, and not in a good way. I spent hours just trying to figure out basic terminology.
After that brutal learning curve, I narrowed down my list. I picked a few that, for whatever reason, seemed a little less insane than the others. Maybe I liked their logo, maybe I saw a positive comment on some random forum… who knows? My reasoning was highly scientific, I assure you.

Finally, I took a gamble. I picked one company. Just one. I put in a tiny amount of money, money I was totally okay with losing. Because let’s be real, this whole thing is basically gambling. Then I did something very hard.
I waited. And waited. And checked my phone every five seconds.
It has been fluctuating, it is not a big deal for now, but I am keeping track of what I chose.
So, that’s it. That’s my incredibly sophisticated “home run” picking strategy. It’s probably terrible advice, but it’s what I’m doing. I’ll keep you updated on whether I become a millionaire or end up eating ramen for the rest of my life. Wish me luck!
