Okay, so I saw this “tyson fury happy new year” thing trending and thought, “Hey, I can do that!” I’m no artist, but I figured I could whip up something simple and fun. Plus, New Year’s resolutions and all that, right? Gotta try new things!
First, I grabbed my old iPad and stylus. I haven’t used these in ages, so the first hurdle was actually finding them! They were buried under a pile of, well, let’s just say “life stuff.”
Then, I opened up Procreate. I’ve used it before for some simple doodles, but nothing fancy. I definitely considered just doing this on paper, but I wanted to try a digital version this time.
- I started with a blank canvas. Seriously, staring at that white screen was a bit intimidating. Where to even begin?
- Next, I sketched out a super rough outline of Tyson Fury. Let’s be real, it looked more like a potato with arms at first. No judging!
- I slowly started adding some details, trying to make the potato look more like the boxing champ. I relied heavily on Google Images for reference. Bless the internet.
- Time for a bit of coloring.I googled “Tyson Fury Picture”.
- Finally, I added the “Happy New Year” text. I went with a bold, blocky font. I wanted it to be super clear and celebratory.
The whole process took me about an hour, maybe a bit longer because I kept getting distracted by, you know, life. But I finished it! It’s not perfect, by any means, but it’s mine. And I actually had a lot of fun doing it, even though it was a bit clumsy.
The result? A very amateur, but heartfelt, digital drawing of Tyson Fury wishing everyone a Happy New Year. I posted it on my Instagram story, just for kicks. It’s all about the process, right? And hey, maybe it’ll inspire someone else to try something new, even if it’s just a silly drawing.
