Okay, so today I wanted to dig into the stats from the Atlanta Braves vs. Mets game. I’m a huge baseball fan, and I always love seeing how the individual players did.

Getting Started
First, I needed to find a good source for the information. There’s a bunch of sports websites out there, but I just use a general search for “atlanta braves vs mets box score”. That usually brings up exactly what I need.
Finding the Data
Once I got to the website, it was pretty easy. I look for a box score, because it shows detailed information for all player.
The box score is usually split into two sections: one for batting and one for pitching.
Analyzing Batting Stats
For the hitters, I was looking at a few key things:
- AB: At-bats. How many times did the player come up to the plate?
- R: Runs. How many times did they score?
- H: Hits. How many times did they get a hit?
- RBI: Runs Batted In. How many runs did they drive in?
I’m always curious to see who had a big night, racking up the hits and RBIs.

Checking Out Pitching Stats
For the pitchers, it’s a different set of stats:
- IP: Innings Pitched. How many innings did they pitch?
- H: Hits Allowed. How many hits did they give up?
- R: Runs Allowed. How many runs did they give up?
- ER: Earned Runs Allowed. How many earned runs did they give up?
- BB: Walks. How many batters did they walk?
- SO: Strikeouts. How many batters did they strike out?
- ERAERA (Earned Run Average).
I wanted to see who had a strong outing, keeping the runs down and striking out a bunch of batters.
Putting It All Together
After I checked all the stats, so I could understand which players had a great game.
That’s pretty much it! Just a simple way to keep track of the game and see who the key players were.
