First, I checked out the official US Open website. Honestly, it wasn’t super clear at first. I had to poke around a bit to find the details. I eventually found the entry fee information buried in a bunch of other rules and regulations.
Then,I started thinking beyond just the entry fee. Like, okay, you pay to enter, but what else? I figured there’s gotta be travel costs, right? Depending on where you live, you might have to fly to a qualifying tournament. That’s a big chunk of change right there.

- Food-I need to eat.
