Alright, so I wanted to mess around with Manchester United in FIFA 23. See what all the fuss was about, you know?
Getting Started
First, I fired up the game, obviously. Then I headed over to the team selection screen. Found Manchester United pretty easily, they’re right there in the Premier League.
Checking out the Squad
Next, I spent some time just looking at the players. You got your big names like Ronaldo (well, he was there when I started playing), Rashford, and Sancho. I was mostly interested in seeing their stats, you know, checking out their pace, shooting, passing, all that good stuff.
- Rashford: Pretty fast, decent finishing.
- Sancho: Good dribbling, felt smooth on the ball.
- Some of the defenders, like Varane, were solid as a rock.
I played around with the formation a bit, too. Tried a 4-3-3, then a 4-2-3-1. Just wanted to see what felt best with the players I had.
Playing Some Matches
Then came the fun part – actually playing some games! I started with a few Kick Off matches, just to get a feel for the team. Tried a couple of different difficulty levels, too. Started on Semi-Pro, then bumped it up to Professional after I got a couple of easy wins.
Honestly, it was pretty fun. Scoring goals with Rashford was a blast. He’s so quick, he just blows past defenders. Tried some long shots with Bruno Fernandes, too – he’s got a real cannon on him.
Career Mode Dive
After messing around in Kick Off, I decided to start a Career Mode. Figured it would be cool to take Manchester United back to the top, you know? Made myself the manager, picked my settings, and got going.
It’s been a grind, that’s for sure. Dealing with transfers, training, press conferences…it’s a lot. But it’s also really rewarding when you win a big match or develop a young player into a star.
Overall Impression
All in all, playing as Manchester United in FIFA 23 has been a good time. They’ve got a strong squad, some exciting players, and it’s just fun to try and dominate the league with them. Would recommend giving it a shot if you haven’t already!
