Okay, so I wanted to get better at Multiversus, right? And I love Arya Stark. She’s so cool, but man, is she hard to use. I kept getting my butt kicked online. So, I decided I needed to actually, like, practice her combos. It’s 2024, so I figured there had to be some new stuff out there.

Diving In
First, I jumped into the Lab. Just me and Arya. I started with the basics, you know? Just trying to get a feel for her normal attacks.
I spent, like, a good hour just messing around, it felt longer though. I wanted to nail down her basic ground attacks:
- Neutral Attack: Tap, tap, tap. Getting the timing of that three-hit combo was the first step.
- Side Attack: Okay, this one’s a little faster, feels more fluid.
- Up Attack: Trying to use this as a good launcher.
- Down Attack: Its a quick slice.
After the basics, I needed to get the specials down for combining.
- Neutral SpecialI spent some time trying to consistantly land the face steal, it’s rough.
- Side SpecialThat knife throw is really the key to setting a lot of her combos up, so, practice.
- Up SpecialThis recovery move seemed important, and I found I could start combos with it.
- Down SpecialArya dashes a short distance, granting her a brief period of dodge invincibility.
Putting It Together
Then came the hard part – stringing stuff together. I started simple. A lot of folks online were saying to start with a Side Special (the knife throw), so I did that.
I’d throw the knife, then try to dash in and hit with a Side Attack. Sometimes I’d get it, sometimes Arya would just… stand there. It was frustrating, gonna be honest.

Then I tried incorporating her Up Special. It was awkward at first, feels clumsy. I was all over the place. But after messing up, like, a ton, I started to get the hang of it. I could Up Special, then follow up with an aerial attack. Felt pretty good.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Honestly, the biggest thing was just repetition. Throwing the knife, dashing, attacking, Up Special, aerial attack… over and over and over. I probably looked ridiculous, just mashing buttons in the Lab. My fingers started to hurt.
After a few days of this (yeah, days – I was determined!), I finally started to feel like I was getting somewhere. I could land some basic combos pretty consistently. It was clunky but, functional.
Some combos that worked for me, for now:
- Side Special (Knife Throw) -> Dash -> Side Attack -> Up Attack(maybe).
- Up Special -> Neutral Air Attack.
- Down Attack -> Neutral Attack.
Taking It Online
I went online, ready to unleash my newly-practiced Arya skills. And… I still lost. A lot. But! I also won some! And, more importantly, I actually felt like I knew what I was trying to do, even if I messed it up.

So, yeah, it’s a work in progress. Arya’s still tough. But I’m definitely better than I was. I’ve still got a long way to go, but I’m actually landing some combos now, which feels awesome.
Main takeaway? Don’t be afraid to spend a lot of time in the Lab. It’s boring, but it works!
