Okay, so today I decided to make some Georgia Bulldog tags. I’ve been seeing these everywhere and figured, why not give it a shot myself? It seemed like a fun little project, and honestly, I needed something new to decorate my stuff with.

First things first, I needed to gather my supplies. I grabbed:
- Some sturdy cardstock – I went with red and black, naturally.
- My trusty scissors – Gotta have those.
- A hole punch – For attaching the tags.
- String – Red and black, again, keeping with the theme.
- Markers and pens– For the design work.
- Some Bulldog images-I just searched online to get some reference images.
Getting Started
I started by sketching out a few basic tag shapes on the cardstock. Nothing fancy, just some rectangles and a few with rounded corners. I figured I’d experiment and see what looked best.
Then, I carefully cut out the tag shapes. I took my time with this part because I didn’t want any jagged edges.
The Design Part
This is where the fun really started. I used my markers and pens to draw on the tags. I freehanded some “Go Dawgs!” and “UGA” text, trying out a few different styles. I also used my printed images of the Bulldog logo, carefully drawing the Bulldog onto the tags.
Finishing Touches
Once I was happy with the designs, I used the hole punch to make a hole at the top of each tag. It is super simple step.

Finally, I cut some lengths of string and threaded them through the holes. I tied the ends to make little loops, so I could hang the tags on things.
And that’s it! My very own, handmade Georgia Bulldog tags. It was a surprisingly relaxing little project, and now I have some cool, personalized tags to show off my team spirit. Might make some more for gifts later!
