Okay, so today I decided to tackle something I’ve been putting off for a while – getting my head around “Mission After Supra et Ultra.” It sounds fancy, I know, but really it’s just about pushing boundaries, going above and beyond. I figured it was time to stop just thinking about it and actually do something.

The Starting Point
First, I needed to figure out exactly what I was going to push myself on. I mean, “above and beyond” is pretty broad. I’ve got a few projects on the back burner, things I’ve started but haven’t really committed to. So, I grabbed a pen and paper (yeah, old school, I know) and started listing everything out.
- That online course I signed up for…and never finished.
- The messy spare room I keep meaning to organize.
- My fitness goals, it needs to continue.
- Writing the article about my experience.
Seeing it all written down was actually kind of helpful. It went from being this vague cloud of “stuff I should do” to actual, concrete things.
Getting My Hands Dirty
I decided to start with writing the article.
So I fired up my laptop, opened a new document, and… stared at a blank page for a good 10 minutes. Writer’s block, anyone?

To get things moving, I started jotting down random ideas, just whatever came to mind. It was a mess, honestly. Misspelled words, half-sentences, the works. But it was something.
I used some simple tags like
, to divide my article.
Once I had a rough outline, I started fleshing it out, adding details, moving things around. It was slow going at first, but after a while, I got into a rhythm. I even surprised myself with some of the ideas that popped up.
The Finish Line (Almost!)
I’m not gonna lie, it wasn’t easy. There were times I wanted to just close the laptop and go watch TV. But I kept reminding myself of the whole “supra et ultra” thing. I pushed through the frustrating parts, took breaks when I needed them, and eventually, I had something that resembled a coherent article.

Is it perfect? Nope. Am I completely finished? Not quite. I still need to proofread it, maybe tweak a few things. But I got the bulk of it done, and that feels pretty darn good.
It might need some polishing, but hey, that’s for tomorrow. Today, I actually did something. I went a little “supra et ultra,” and that’s a win in my book.
