Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about Chris Gotterup’s clubs lately, and I figured, why not take a crack at figuring out what he’s got in his bag? This “WITB” (What’s In The Bag) stuff can be tricky, but I gave it my best shot.

First, I scoured the internet. I mean, I really dug deep. I checked out golf forums, watched recent tournament footage frame-by-frame, and even tried to zoom in on blurry photos from social media. It was a whole thing.
The Driver
It seemed pretty clear he’s rocking a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus. I spent ages pausing videos to get a good look at the head shape and the coloring. The red face is pretty distinctive, you know?
Fairway Woods
This was tougher. I think he’s got a TaylorMade Stealth 2, probably a 3-wood. I noticed in one video he was hitting it off the tee on a par 4, and it looked a bit smaller than a driver, so that’s my guess. I also believe he has a 5-wood, also Stealth 2, after seeing a long approach shoot into a par 5.
Irons
- Okay, the irons were a puzzle! I finally found a decent picture that suggested he’s using a mixed set.
- It looked like he had a P770 for maybe his 4-iron?
- Then the rest seemed to be P7MC, these looked like blades so im guessing 5-iron down to pitching wedge.
Wedges
From what I could gather, he uses the Titleist Vokey SM9s. These are super popular, so it wasn’t too hard to spot them. I think I saw a 50, 56, and 60 degree. Pretty standard stuff for a pro.
Putter
Now, this was the most challenging part. It looked like a Scotty Cameron blade of some sort. I spent probably an hour just looking at different Scotty Cameron models online, trying to match it *’s his most important club.

The Ball
Easy peasy – Titleist Pro V1x. You see that ball everywhere, so it was no problem to identify.
So, there you have it! My attempt at figuring out Chris Gotterup’s WITB. It’s not perfect, of course, but I feel pretty good about it. It was like detective work, piecing together clues from all over the place. It’s always fun to see what the pros are using, and it definitely makes me want to go out and hit some balls!
